Official Statement regarding Intertraffic 2020

Hosting more than 20.000 visitors from 140 different countries, the INTERTRAFFIC in Amsterdam is the world’s leading trade exhibition for traffic technology professionals. As such, it is one of the most important events in our calendar and has become a tradition for our employees, partners, and clients.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to exhibit at INTERTRAFFIC this year, though. In close collaboration with our partner Kathrein, and after consulting our global partner network, we have decided that the outbreak of the new coronavirus demands us to cancel our joint exhibition booth. Despite our trust in the local authorities and health care professionals, we have to put the health and well-being of our employees, guests, and families first. While this is merely a precautionary measure, we agree with our federal government that all citizens as well as businesses have to work together to minimize the threat of the newly discovered virus.

INTERTRAFFIC will naturally remain an immensely important event for TÖNNJES, and we are looking forward to joining you in Amsterdam again next time. We are also happy to be a part of the exhibition at an alternative date, given the virus is contained until then.

We urge everyone to be cautious and to listen to health experts and local authorities. Visit the website of the World Health Organization for more information on the coronavirus and COVID-19.
