A unique encrypted identification number contained in an RFID chip or QR code can be saved onto the licence plate during the registration process. This identification number can be verified against the appropriate databases via a secure data connection. The data can be digitally read using the IDeTRUST® Verification App. You only need a smartphone to start reliably identifying vehicles. Once the app has been installed on a mobile device, the identification process can also be carried out without an Internet connection. As such, the app is not just used to monitor traffic and access, but also for commercial purposes like in multi-storey car parks and for second-hand car sales.
